The Wild Boar Meat Company (Wild Boar Meats, LLC) runs a processing plant at 1005 NW 4th Street in Hubbard, a small town in Hill County between Waco and Corsicana. We do one thing: wild boar. The plant buys feral hogs from trappers and hunters across Central Texas, processes them, and sells the meat to home cooks, restaurants, retailers and pet owners across the United States.

What we do

Why it matters

Feral hogs do enormous damage to Texas agriculture and wildlife habitat. Every hog removed from the land is less rooting, fewer ruined fields and fewer fouled creeks. Every hog that ends up as food — rather than left in the field — puts that animal to good use. We think a lean, wild, Texas-grown meat should be on more tables, and we built our plant to make that possible.
